Visitors to Steubenville typically arrive through the Pittsburgh International Airport, approximately a 25 minute drive from the city. A toll road (576) opened a few years ago making for a shorter and more direct route to the Pittsburgh airport, which travelers may use for a 50¢ fee each way.

Though there are relatively few attractions located within the city itself, a car is the fastest and easiest way to move around Steubenville. Visitors wishing to access the parks and towns around the city, including the city of Pittsburgh (a 45 minute drive) will likely have to do so by car.
